        Parentstrong is a center for the aging.  It includes supportive geriatric care for older adults with any disabilities, including different forms of dementia, coronary heart disease, stroke, diabetes, vision impairment, hearing impairment, and a rehabilitation area to serve those persons undergoing hip and knee replacements.  It is also designed to support the families of those parents with disabilities by providing positive and stimulating day care services while the adult children work.

         In this precedent analysis, three types of programs will be observed:
 
• The Clinic

      o Louise Obici Memorial Hospital, 2800 Godwin Blvd., Suffolk, VA
         23434, Suffolk City County, approx. 9,000 sq. ft.
• Residential Housing for the Aging Population
      o De Hogeweyk, Heemraadweg1, 1382 GV Weesp, Netherlands,
        approx. 47,000 sq. ft. (campus)
      o Alderdomshein Papegojelyckan,(Home for the Aged in
        Papegojelyckan), next to Petersgardens Kyrka and is located in
        Lunds Kommun, Skane, Sweden, Municipality of Lund, approx.
        52,000 sq. ft.
